We are a company limited by guarantee (Registration Number: 2114430) and a Registered Charity (Charity Number: 296694). We are led by a voluntary Board of Trustees, employ over 300 staff, have a budget of £15m, manage 343 bedspaces and six community based services and help some 6,000 people a year.
We are an Investors-in-People organisation. This underlines our commitment to integrating our annual planning with our investment in staff development, so as to continually improve service delivery.
We attract funding from central Government, Primary Care Trusts, Local Authorities and Charitable Trusts. These reflect changing central and local priorities and the temporary nature of funding for most voluntary organisations.
Our service users have complex needs and simple solutions are rarely effective. We are committed to empowering them as people, encouraging them to learn from their past and develop their confidence and potential to embrace the future.
Over the years we have expanded steadily. We continue to focus on London but are now an established regional provider with a growing recognition for the quality and creativity of our services. For the coming years we are committed to:
