It's a first for people with mental ill health, alcohol dependence and drug dependence - an opportunity to collect and present vital information about climate change.

Now underway, the Equinox climate change project funded by Defra is bringing together service users and other relevant agencies across London and the South East. The project will uncover the most important advice and guidance in terms of how these vulnerable groups in our society can protect themselves in the event of extreme weather.

This Equinox project has come out of several years of focus on the topic of sustainability and climate change - the Defra grant has been made to Equinox in recognition of that work.

Now you can read about the whole picture. Read on SD Scene now an article written by Equinox trustee, Catherine Max, "Equinox works with mental health and substance misuse service users for climate harm reduction".

Send in your comments below to Equinox if you are a service user who would like to have their say on this topic.
