Equinox supports the challenge paper that has been issued by UKDPC, DrugScope and the Centre for Mental Health – “Dual diagnosis: a challenge for the reformed NHS and for Public Health England.”

Chief Executive of Equinox, Bill Puddicombe, says: “We have expressed a hope that the new Public Health arrangements will be seen as an opportunity to improve accessibility to services for people with multiple needs and exclusions. This paper shows both the scale of the need and the improvements that could be made in the implementation of the new arrangements.”

Equinox provides support, care and recovery to people who have a range of needs including dual diagnosis, substance misuse, homelessness and forensic histories.
