Health and Wellbeing Boards

At Equinox we are waiting cautiously but optimistically for more information about the implementation of Health and Wellbeing Boards and the transfer of public health responsibilities to Local Authorities.

Bill Puddicombe, Equinox’ Chief Executive says:

“Equinox works with people who have multiple needs and exclusions, who are often poorly served by the current collection of specialist services.

The new public health arrangements are a great opportunity to create services in which the needs, wishes and aspirations of the individual are the central concern, rather than person’s diagnosis or ‘client group’”.

For more information about personalisation of services at Equinox please Contact us. Equinox service users have a range of needs including mental health problems, substance misuse and homelessness
