Lewisham Mental Health Conference - post-event updates

Posted by on 14 October 2015 | 0 Comments

Following the Lewisham Mental Health Conference 2015 in September at the Civic Suite in Catford, we've put together a round up of information about the event.

Equinox Lewisham and QVT co-sponsored the 'Speaking Out & Creating Community' event, supported by Lewisham Council, Cllr Jonathan Slater (Lewisham Mental Health Champion) and the Lewisham Mental Health Connection.

We're sharing here a selection of presentations, photos and films from the day - enjoy!

Conference presentations

We were lucky to have so many fantastic speakers and workshop leaders at our event, some of whom also prepared presentations. We're sharing all conference presentations with you here, as many contain great information, advice and insights into mental health, wellbeing and support available to people who experience mental ill health in Lewisham and beyond.

Click to download each presentation here:

Two short films were shown at the event - you can enjoy both these films again here:

Coming soon is the Lewisham Mental Health Conference film which captures the spirit of connection and fun on the day.

You can read more about the conference on two blogs that have been written since the event.

SLaM Governer and founder of A Caring Mind blog, Matthew McKenzie, has written about the Lewisham Mental Health Conference 2015 here.

Arts Network wrote this blog about the Arts & Self-Expression Zone they coordinated at the event.

There are now 4 sets of conference photos for you to enjoy on Equinox Care's Facebook (photo set 1 and photo set 2) and QVT's Facebook (photo set 3 and photo set 4). Please comment on and share the photos you like.

We're working away here on the conference evaluation, based on a large amount of feedback we received on the day through our evaluation forms, as well as feedback since the event. This will be published later this year.
