The Lewisham Mental Health Connection is a group of committed people in the voluntary sector, from organisations including Equinox Lewisham, Quo Vadis Trust, Hexagon Housing Association, Bromley & Lewisham Mind, Family Action, the Mental Health Providers Forum and Animals For Therapy.

We create recovery-focused events and activities in Lewisham, involving people with mental ill health – this initiative is an outcome of the Lewisham Mental Health Conference 2013. We are working together in 2014 and beyond to make the best use of our resources and spread the benefit of activities and events beyond our individual services.

All are welcome to join the Lewisham Mental Health Connection – service users, family members, professionals with an interest in mental health and community members.

We are having a launch party on Tuesday 24th June (12pm to 3pm) at Hexagon Housing Association, 42 Newstead Road SE12 OSY.

This is a free event, mainly aimed at clients and service users of mental health services in Lewisham. Professional support workers and carers are also welcome to attend, in a support capacity. There will be a summer barbecue, animal therapy, art therapy and a competition to design a logo for the Lewisham Mental Health Connection.

Please RSVP for this free event here.
