We have another set of thank yous to make for donations of time, talent, prizes, refreshments and general all-round brilliance to the Equinox Rocket to Recovery event - a day for service users, family members and volunteers from Equinox and Aquarius to celebrate their achievements and have fun.

Firstly, thank you to photographer Phil Bourne for donating his time and skills to capture the great moments on the day - see also our news article about Alistair Campbell's and Arthur Smith's contributions to this Equinox event, which also features Phil's photography...

Secondly, an enormous thank you to artist Lloyd Green - the man who headed up the creativity at the event. Lloyd worked tirelessly to create a space-themed event, as well as an exhibition of service user artworks and some of his paintings. Also a big thanks to Equinox Brighton, Equinox Southampton Way and Aquarius for their significant contributions to the art on display. Here's the man himself, Lloyd, at the event...

Here's some of the artwork contributed by Equinox Brighton - they have a committed artistic group in Brighton who are producing some fantastic works...

Thirdly, we also have to thank graffiti artist Alex McLelland for this fantastic artwork he created in less than an hour for Equinox - inspired by messages and drawings done on the day by Equinox and Aquarius service users, family members and volunteers.

Fourthly, thank you to our raffle sponsors - an epic raffle where some forty prizes were given out, ranging from orginal artwork from artist Nick Day, coffee machines and other appliances from Tesco in Southwark, books and a filofax from Waterstones and WHSmiths, make-up kits and mirrors from Boots, vases, vouchers and much more besides - you helped to make our day....

We must also say a big thanks to Tesco Southwark for donating all the cold drinks and snacks for our day.

And last but not least, our cake makers - thank you to Angela Kirby, Equinox Greenwich and Equinox Aspinden Wood for their fabulous cakes, there wasn't a slice or a cupcake left after tea had finished, it was all demolished!
